Following the European Year of Cultural Heritage, the Interactive Database is the result of work on the accessibility of culture and on its capacity to act as a tool for social inclusion. You discover a very innovative Database with an interdisciplinary approach based on a matrix of culture and heritage education, language learning, new technologies, and social learning delivered through a prism of adult education.
You can explore two different sections:
- EU Good Practices and Initiatives on Using Cultural and Intercultural Materials Teaching Foreign Languages and ICT to Older Learners categorized in terms of actions, language or ICT topics, type of cultural heritage addressed to in the learning materials, location, impact, positive things, points to be improved, further ideas.
- Developing an Inclusive Learning Culture for Older Learners with materials and strategies to guide and support adult educators in creating a teaching/learning environment that would also improve their feeling of inclusion while learning and in society.
